NEGOTIATING THE DEAL
The negotiation is a process in which you as a buyer make an offer to the seller and the seller makes you a counter offer, then the process repeats until meeting of minds.
A good reason why to use a Realtor when purchasing a property is because he/she will do all the negotiation for you. The negotiation process is very complicated. Even if you offer full price, there might be something to negotiate, closing costs, closing date, possession, or personal property.
Your Realtor can provide you assistant in preparing an offer based on previous experiences and negotiated transactions. Your Realtor can present and negotiate your offer to achieve the best possible results.
Another thing you should keep in mind during negotiation is the type of loan you are going to choose.
Because if you choose an FHA or VA loan they place additional expenses to the seller called Non-Allowance fees
FHA and VA loans prohibit the buyer from paying some fees charged buy the lender like escrow companies, title companies and settlement agents. The seller must pay for those fees and that can hurt you during negotiation.
